The Analyzation of a Sham: Height Discrepancies - Caroline Lyders is Short
As RADAR reported, is was speculated in the past that the staged photos of Lyders & Hicks might have been photoshopped due to Hicks’ thumb/hand looking unusually mangled in the one photo Hicks’ camp released. (They’ve faked sightings & girlfriends why not fake photos too?) However, once we got access to the rest of the images from the shoot and it was clear they were just “staged” and not photoshopped — we made a correction; that was on 11/16/07. (The photos can be found on pacificcoastnews.com)
The “Sham Patrol” has been pretending that Caroline Lyders was the woman on the beach in Maui with Taylor Hicks in May 2007 - at the time the media did not question it - because who is ballsy enough to pull something like this? Taylor Hicks apparently. Thanks to some inside sources with big mouths, and some major discrepancies between the two women and the story they attempted to sell, we know this is a twisted (pointless) cover-up concocted by Hicks’ camp.
Here’s a photo of Hicks and the Mystery Blonde. Beachie is almost as tall as Hicks. Her thigh is almost as long as Hicks - which only confirms her height. She’s stepping forward - which means she’s even slightly taller than what she appears.
Now look at this photo of Caroline Lyders:
Now that you’ve stopped laughing, notice how small Lyders’ head and body is and how short she is. The difference is drastic. This is consistent in every single photo.
Again, Lyders and Hicks during their staged NYC outing. Hector Vallenilla was the paparazzi “sent out” to take these shots.
Hicks and the Mystery Blonde walking in the water. Both are standing up straight. Unfortunately, the sand isn’t magical growth sand that only affects the female in the photo. And sorry, she’s not standing on coral or a step ladder. She’s TALL.
Here are some photos of Lyders with lines drawn through them for comparisons:
This is from Good Morning America. During this conversation they joked about how short Caroline is compared to Robin Roberts who has stated in various interviews that she stands at 5′10. Lyders herself says she is short in this excerpt. In this photo it is unknown if Lyders is wearing heels or not. One can assume she is since it is a professional environment. She looks to be approximately 5′4.
This Amazon Goddess Beach Woman is long limbed, tall, with legs that don’t stop. And sorry Hicks’ - she ain’t no news anchor! Furthermore, 5′3 women don’t have these kinds of legs. We guarantee Lyders’ body looks nothing like this in a bikini, and we also guarantee she throughly enjoyed taking credit for it.
Note how difficult it is to see the beach womans face in all these photos –the only reason this cover worked for as long as it did.
We’re not naturally “conspiracy theorists” - but this info had been leaked out and the switch-a-roo was too interesting to pass up. There’s too many physical differences between these two women which would make them different people that just look similar. There’s also too many conflicting stories. Simply put, Lyders can’t be on air at 6:00am on May 7th in Milwaukee, while she’s partying at 2am on May 7th in a Pala, CA casino with Hicks.

I think the girl and him were doing stuff he didn’t want his fans to find out. I think Taylor doesn’t want his fans to see who he really is. I don’t think the Asshole Years are past tense. I think the Asshole Years are still happening right now. I would bet good money on it.
Drugs, sex with ho’s, etc. That is what he’s trying to hide. He thought the media would look to find out who this woman was and find out that she was no good. So he found CL first so they would stop looking. And they did.

To be honest I don’t think the woman on the beach looks like a cokewhore. I hope that isn’t the case. I hope his drug days are in the past. He has been around thousands of people and no one has ever said he looked high. It would be a real waste if that is the case.

The spring tour was very trying and fast past - he may have used to keep going. Considering whats been going on lately with the fake gf and his friends involved in the sham - probably not a good idea for him to turn to them. Hope his family can help him before he gets in too deep.

Don’t forget it was the Marine’s photo that got publicized nationwide but with CL’s name. If Taylor was trying to hide Marine’s identity, it totally didn’t work. I think the real purpose of the coverup was what we thought all along - to cover up his dealings with the Marine - whatever those dealings were.

One woman is very tall, with a tall person’s bone structure and big feet. The other is short with a petite person’s bone structure and small feet. They’re not interchangeable although some would like them to be. It’s just not naturally possible.

He left for Hawaii right after he turned over the AI “crown” to someone new. He probably felt a weight had been lifted off his shoulders. The spring tour was over and his was on his break before the summer tour. He put on his hat and didn’t think anyone would recognize him. Only problem was he choose the wrong woman - somebody less than desirable who set him up.

It seems a little awkward and distant. Does anyone else notice that? I also wonder where he met this woman? What a disaster. And what the heck happened to the other one that apparently seen with him throughout the spring tour? This is just so weird. Maybe that woman broke his heart or something and he ran into the arms of the devil! LOL.

When this finally ends (and we know it will eventually) and you close this blog down please consider running another one where those of us that don’t drink kool-aid and are intelligent enough to carry on a conversation can talk about the things that are going on…like the music, his concerts or whatever is going on at the time in the land of Taylor.

I think he just wanted a fling with no commitments and it backfired. He got caught - panicked - and then got talked into the coverup. Not sure what is worse - just letting his fans find out who the Marine was or spending months in a fake relationship. He lost fans either way. I saw a video of his concert at Alabama Adventures that was the first one after Hawaii and he kids several times with the band members about the pictures. If he was trying to have a relationship with CL I don’t think he would have kidded about them.

‘Call Me The Breeze’ blogged here on Sept 21st that he saw Taylor with some woman who looked a lot like the Marine at the Pala casino blackjack table area on May 6th in San Diego. It’s possible that was her.
The paparazzi setup had to be pre-meditated and set up way in advance. If so, I wonder if it was Marine’s idea to go to Maui and that particular hotel beach?

When Taylor was interviewed in Alabama at the booksigning by Jan, the Fox newswoman, he commented about having, ” ten thousand nosey neighbors”. I thought at the time, that it was the 1st time that I had heard Taylor give a rebuff of his fans. Now, how do you respond to an overly curious neighbor?? smile and ignore?? Is this what Taylor is doing on this subject?

I think the reason that people thought it was a PR stunt was because the photographer had a perfect view. What that means is he had time to position himself in the ideal spot where he would not be seen but also where he could get the best shots. It almost looks like a photoshoot because they are very clear photos. It’s obvious he knew where and when to be where he was. He did NOT just stumble upon these two. Taylor in a hat and sunglasses. Not a chance.

He just got caught with the wrong woman and tried to cover it up with someone he thought would be more presentable. But, if CL agreed to go along with this and they have a contract, then she is as undesirable a character as the Marine - both used him.

Taylor does look very incognito in those photos. The dead giveaway for fans is the band on the wrist, but that’s something only fans really know about. Otherwise he just looks like any other tall guy at the beach. As you say, the photographer obviously knew who to look for and was ready.

If you believe this was a PR stunt, then you have to believe Taylor posed for a tabloid photographer with a probable shady woman that he’s now spent months trying to hide any association with. That’s not a good theory any more. It sounded good when the photos first came out, when people were lead to believe the beach girl was CL.
If you believe Marine set him up (like I do), then he didn’t know he was being photographed. The shots that seem posed were not in reality posed.

When I first saw the photos on Splash, I thought it was PR, and I thought that was CL in those photos. I’ve since changed my mind — that women is not CL and I agree with everyone else that the beach marine set him up. However, there is a photo in there where Taylor is sitting down in the sand and looking into the camera, so obviously he knows his photo is being taken. I think what happened is Taylor was not aware that the photographer was there and taking photos of him and the marine until the end of the photo shoot, so after he notices the photographer and gets his picture taken. I think that’s the only explanation that makes sense.

He had sunglasses on so it’s hard to tell if he is looking directly into the camera. I’m thinking those pictures were taken with a longlense camera and he wouldn’t have even seen the photographer. I think he was just looking in the general direction of the camera and it makes it look like he knew the camera was there.

This is my first time posting here but I read all the time. I noticed those Soho pics looked staged. I guess now we know they were photoshopped because of that thumb. So weird. I’ll admit that I was a fence-sitter when the whole Marine/Giraffe thing came out. But with MFOYA’s wonderful photo analysis, I’m becoming more and more convinced. But there are two other things about this situation that icked me out.
1) Ted’s “rainbows and sunshine” e-mail about Taylor and Caroline’s true love. I can’t imagine a guy writing an e-mail about his friend’s love life, let alone sending it out for the public to see. But maybe Ted is actually a middle-school girl circa 1981 sending a note to her BFF during world civics class. Weird.
2) Aaron’s easy acceptance of Caroline cheating on him with Taylor. I’ve been cheated on and it is not fuckin’ tea party. I was filled with rage with my ex and the other woman. So to find out that Aaron seemed to be fine with the whole situation didn’t sit right with me. And don’t get me started on the lame “press release” on his MySpace page. What a pretentious dicksmack!

Initially I viewed the photos of the blonde and Hicks on the beach questioning even if they were really taken in Hawaii. I’ve been there a few times…
I saw photos later of Caroline on the TV webpage and thought the facial features were amiss - the nose on Caroline did not seem the same as BeachGirl. The jaw line different too. Not ot mention the possible discrepancy in the height factor.
You can attribute the height thing to a degree to photography and lighting - in some lighting a photograph can seem very flat and perspective lost. If perhaps the Splash photogs chopped the shots, perhaps because the two were too far apart, so they chopped the photo to make them look closer in the frame, so in that, perspective would be lost. I thought also, of that famous Seinfeld episode, “The Strike”. Jerry dates the chick with the lighting challenges. In some lighting the gal is gorgeous, others she’s … not.
I blew off the speculation, that the two were not the same because, well it hasn’t bothered me one way or another, but MFOYA you do make a tenacious case. An apt moniker for you, TMFOYA.
I guess I could take umbrage with Hicks not being forthright and honest, but he’s just a human like the rest of us.
Speculation about the BeachGirl being some kind of hooker or druggie don’t ring true, she looks healthy and vibrant, not drugged out or skanky. Then again, I’ll flipflop that comment with not all hookers look skanky, but you can’t hide druggie. I worked many eons ago as an exotic dancer - met all kinds of folks. Even under make-up you can’t hide druggie, much less bare faced in the sun at the beach.

Regarding the Boogie Board, the bloom is sure-as-hell off the rose. A once great site has become a shadow of its former self. No fansite is perfect, nor can satisfy the diverse needs of all fans, but the problem here goes beyond that.
Where once they were known for their sense of community, they are now infamous for their one-sided pettiness. Treatment of posters who state a non-preapproved view are accused of being trolls and their posts are deleted. Disagree with the Heathers more than once and risk being banned altogether. Now, I recognize that there are instances when a comment should be removed, but the random deletion of posts without even so much as a pm to the poster smacks of hubris–and inspires ill will.
The uber harbinger of ill will is AmyH. AmyH’s tone with posters she disagrees with is consistently rude and condescending. Granted, she may not be the only mod there who is unprofessional, but she is the most notorious–and it’s a well earned reputation.

I personally think it’s unconscionable to try and dictate to people how to be a “good fan” or trying to use the”shame on you” or “Taylor will be so ashamed” guilt as the BB did to HC2010.
Nobody has the right to tell people how to be a fan or even edit or delete peoples posts if they are “objectifying Taylor.” or they don’t agree with something that doesn’t go along with their sheep herder’s opinions.
The whole “no objectification of Taylor rule” is ridiculous on the BB.
That board doesn’t allow any kind of “thudding” (God help me, I hate that word)and those women really should take a good long hard look in the mirror. They’re are obviously dealing with personal sexual issues.
Because what good comes from chastising other women who say something off color?
It obviously makes them feel better to shame people into feeling dirty if it isn’t always 100% about the music.

I agree with you. When I said ‘publicity’ I mean ’spotlight’ (no edit key - alas). I meant that he thought that he wouldn’t be of tabloid interest any more once he handed over the title. He still took precautions (cap, sunglasses) but I’m sure he never thought he was going to be set up by the woman he was with.

My first impression after seeing the Splash photos was she was a piece of ass for the day. I don’t see how anybody could look at that any differently than that. He did go on many interviews saying he didn’t have time for a GF, so the beach marine looked like a play thing to me.

I remember getting so mad about that email. It laid this huge guilt trip on the fan base and Ted was telling off the very fans who had stretched themselves to the limit to get Taylor the win. It seemed very, very ungrateful. NOW I understand the purpose of why he wrote what he did in order to get the fans backing off from questioning things.

MFOYA is the nemesis right now because they are the key to the truth, something they have been trying to desperately conceal since May 2007.

Some people come here and say why are you doing this MFOYA? Who cares if she’s fake or real? It’s none of our business, etc, etc, etc.
To me this is why outing this sham is important. You have fans who actually idolize CL. Some go as far as to say “she makes me proud to be a woman” or “she has such great character” and so on . Almost looking up to her as a role model, even though they might be 10, 20 or even 30 years older than her. These are the naive (yet kind hearted I’m sure) fans that Taylor has hurt by this. He doesn’t even seem to care that he’s done this. Unfortunately, these are the same fans that are going to be crushed when they finally get their brains around this. Because not only did their god, Taylor, lie to them and have a bootie call but their roll model, Caroline, is a lying, using ho (there’s more than one way to be a ho in my opinion).

Little28, yes I have been interviewed and fortunately my words weren’t twisted. And I’ve interviewed people for different publication, and have always tried to go by the code of ethics.
But you are right. Journalists do not always abide by the code of ethics, and are rarely called out on it. I have a huge problem with the mainstream media because of this. There are far too many people who have no business being journalists. I think J-schools need to focus more on ethics in their classes.

I was mulling over the sham. I think the whole sham idea was to first trick the media with a sleight-of-hand between Marine and CL. That worked so well that they thought of extending it to the fans by trotting out CL from the bus and having her meet the fans. I don’t think the sham was first meant for the fans, but it evolved into a multi-purpose trick. It got very good publicity in the national media for BOTH Taylor and CL, it blew off gay rumors that were circulating because of Justin Timberlake’s comments, it held overly-obsessed fans at bay, and gave romantic fans something to ‘ooh’ and ‘aah’ about.

There is always a price to pay when deceit is the primary focus. It was so unnecessary to pull off this charade. But, perhaps the kool-aid drinkers were more important to Taylor than the other masses of fans that he HAD and may continue to have if this ends.
I for one am seeing him in a different light. I never was a thudder or SP, never even looked at a fansite or message board until this shit took off. I kind of fell into it. I must admit it has held my attention to some degree all summer and beyond. I just feel personally that he is naive, a bit immature and really doesn’t yet know how to handle the big leagues of fame. Fame is very fragile and can be gone in a heartbeat.

I’m just curious. How do you think fans would react to a woman Taylor really was dating and cared a lot about, possibly even married if she was just “average”? Average looking (kind of like Suzanne), average 9 to 5 job, middleclass, average dressing style, average weight, seen more in the background but friendly to fans when it was appropriate? Do you think they would destroy her for being just average, not skinny enough, didn’t have a “public” job like CL. They were very cruel to the blonde that was seen standing in line behind him last year on his birthday.

IMO, any entertainer is subject to this kind of ridicule, is it fair, no, nice, no but as a celebrity unfortunately you open yourself up to the masses. I think in Taylor’s case, he came across as the lonely, aw shucks, southern bachelor looking for Ms. Right and it got his SP fans in a state of uproar. They coddled him, worhsipped him and fantasized about him. When that seems stripped away and all hope is gone of being with him (like it would have happened anyway), the fans react. They feel cheated on and spurned like a lover leaving them. This has been going on for many many years with numerous singers, bands, actors etc.
Why so much venom towards Taylor? Not sure, my guess whould be it is the constant mixed messages he sends his fans, tagging at concerts, M & G’s etc, he makes them feel like they could have a chance then turns around and acts like an ass and hurts their feelings. (This I say based on many, many fan encounters I have read and heard about).
At this point in time, it will be hard to believe anything he does and says, however, if he does have a real girlfriend or when he does, it will look natural and the fans will accept it. This shit was caused by so many lies and the fact, they never looked natural together, they never looked at each other like a couple, body language etc. That got the fans in an uproar knowing something was wrong. Again, this is just my opinion, but I think the negative fame became more important than the truth.

I don’t think the SP is going to particularly “take” to one woman over the other. Of course they’re going to post all this positive stuff about her, but deep inside, they hate her.
That’s how it is with CL now. The ones who believe that it’s real even don’t like her. I know a bunch of adults, particularly at the Boogie, that don’t like CL, but post that they do.
How do I know this? Ever since May, many adults that have a different opinion from the 100% positive will PM me to discuss the issue. Along with support PM’s saying to stick with my theories no matter what, and of course, hate PMs telling me how wrong and stupid I must be to even think for one second it isn’t real.
