Happy Fucking New Year - No Longer Under the “Radar!”
Check out the latest issue of Radar - the Jan/Feb issue out in news stands now.
Radar did get one thing wrong however, the part about digitally elongating the legs - in reality, the The Sham Patrol planted one close up photo of Caroline Lyders face (and supernatural neck) in the Splash News Agency. This was done to create the illusion that it was all the same woman. What a good idea!
Various people have reported seeing the Mystery Blond with Taylor Hicks in a casino in Pala, San Diego on the morning of May 7, 2007. In fact, Hicks’ stage manager and spokesperson, Ted Cognata, has said repeatedly that Lyders was in Pala, San Diego. For those who don’t know, Cognata, was the also same person that send out an odd email to Hicks’ fan base naming the woman on the beach as Lyders.
Radar has confirmed that Lyders was LIVE on air in Milwaukee, WI on the morning of May 7, 2007.
What we found especially interesting about this Radar article, was Hicks and Lyders’ refusal to respond such a straightforward question. Something Radar clearly found odd as well. “Strangely, Lyders and pals of Hicks declined to comment on rumors.” And of course, “Reached by phone, Hicks refused to confirm or deny, adding “I have a plane to catch.”
If it’s not true, why not just say so? The problem is, it’s all true.

Excellent article. Gives validity to MFOYA’s claims.
It’s funny that they mention what a rational explanation would be. Yeah, that would be a rational explanation–if you ignore the discrepanices of the physical features and the fact that Caroliar can’t be in two places at once. I mean, brooms aren’t time machines, right?

It is a conspiracy (sometimes conspiracies are actually true) and we outed it to the fans and they published the “rumors” for the world to see because obviously they got some info (not from MFOYA FYI) that you don’t know about. For the record NYC, I didn’t get this out there to Radar. I wasn’t in communication with this particular magazine but was told anonymously that this story was being covered by them. However, they did read the blog for evidence and info. That’s why we’re here. Evidence and info.

This is great. I posted this on my blog and I do get mostly TV news readers.
Everyone, Caroline Lyders is a horrid person. I do wish you ALL knew the details of how awful this woman is and the lengths of the lies she has told to people I know personally ( and also to Hicks when she went behind his back and used his name to get that job in WJLA-TV).
I believe Taylor Hicks just got caught up in a bad situation which caused him to lie, but this woman IS a liar in every sense of the word. You just cannot be fans of Taylor Hicks and defend Caroline at the same time. I repeat, YOU CANNOT. She is NOT out for him, she is out for HERSELF and really does not care who she hurts. If she hurts Taylor Hicks’ career, she is fine with that as long as she gets what she wants. And no they are not romantic and never were. I’m sure she wishes they were however. lol

Well, so Radar published the article (no surprise). It’s not a tabloid rag at all, but a publication watched carefully by the general media. Their recent article about Nicole Kidman was the source of an AP wire article, and their controversial political candidate cover was linked by the Drudge Report. This sham story could have ‘legs’…
Hope Taylor has finally ditched the albatross around his neck. I wish for him a happier new year in 2008 and maybe we will see real joy back in his eyes permanently!

This is absolutely hilarious. I am LMAO!!! Congrats to MFOYA and the others that have brought this fiasco to light!
I am a sporadic reader of these blogs and I scanned the beach pix and the pix of Ms. Lyders on her former employers web site on the same day several months ago. My first reaction was- Man, she should always wear a bikini and leave her hair more natural because she looks so much better on the beach than she does in her more professional pix. Then I listened to some bulls**t interview with her where she said she didn’t watch TV and when she listened to music it was classical.
I thought: Taylor, honey, I think you might be making a mistake here. First, she’s not a G.R.I.T. ( Girl Raised In The South)!!! You are out of your territory. (Sorry, girls but there is a cultural gap ‘tween us good ole girls and boys and the more sophistocated classical pianists who don’t watch TV) Classical Music???? No TV??? Wow!
The next site I saw was that of one Aaron Ruffcorn ( Wonder why his Favorite Shape is a Triangle??? C’s shape? Threesome?) who has a quite interesting video of Miss La-Te-Dah Caroline who appears in his bed behind a crotch shot of the said Mr. Ruffcorn. At the end she is videoed almost in the dark as she mouths _F*** You into the camera. Now, where is the classical pianist??
As this point I thought: Tay, Tay, Tay! You need to extricate yourself immediately from this obviously schizophrenic woman!
Then, I finally read enough about the two girlfriends ( really three considering the two Carolines) and now I finally get the picture. I KNOW that Caroline is NOT the same girl that is on the beach. My tipping point is the ankles!
I’m thinking that he got set up for the pix on the beach by the girl on the beach. She seemed to know she was being photographed. To minimize the possible publicity she might bring to herself, he decided to date the less attractive Caroline and try to pass them off as one and the same.
He must have been thinking with his tubular brain to think that was going to fly, but from C’s point of view, it was great to be publicized as looking that good in a bikini!
And those damn glasses! Has the girl not heard of contacts! Any GRIT nows that you don’t wear your glasses on a date. You might have to sneak them on at the beginning of the evening and memorize the colors folks have on so you can call people by name, but, honey, have a little pride! Surely, when they are out together, Taylor can guide her around fire hydrants so she won’t stumble and even can read her a menu if she needs it!
I now think he has the old problem of Cs**t on his boot that he can’t get off. I am sure she has insinuated herself into every gig she can and I do hope he can scrape her off without ruining those sexy cowboy boots!
I feel right sorry for him- Bless his heart! But as my Mama told me: He got into it, he’s gotta get out of it! In his history, he’s broken up with much worthier GF candidates than this!!!!!

Un-believe-able. Radar Magazine is a big time magazine based in New York City and is funded by billionaire Ron Burkle.
The editor in chief was also the ex editor of the legendary New York Magazine. This is a very big deal folks. The two women scandal is now in the national press and has has been officially published. No, this not a rag mag. What’s next? I’m betting a lot more.

Glad I saw the truth before this article came out otherwise I would feel sort of dumb. MFOYA you have not failed to deliver. You’ve proven yourself to be an honest person, even by correcting yourself. Kudos.
Radar doesn’t make a conclusive statement on if it’s true or not (most journalists don’t for legal reasons unless someone is willing to take the blame for legal reasons or there is solid proof like the name of the woman) but they take them seriously enough to actually PRINT the article and to call Taylor Hicks and ask him about the allegations. Clearly they did some research. Someone that knows Taylor is talking, otherwise they would not have his phone number. This story does have legs indeed.

Gray has been e-mailing me for months under the guise of a reputable free-lance reporter. He used a fake name, fake e-mail address and he desperately wanted the scoop on mfoya. He tried to bait me, get me to give him private information, all in the name of journalism and “exposing the sham” Yes, shammers, Gray went to bat for you, wanted to expose you as well as mfoya, but his real purpose was to find out who mfoya was (because MFOYA made GC look like the ass he is). Seems in reality all you did was peak Radar’s interest in this story. Taylor man, Gray really has your back.

Funny thing about the truth. You can really not care it’s the truth, or pretend not to care about the truth, or care a little or a lot that it’s the truth. But it doesn’t change that the truth is still the truth.
In the case of this sham, it’s stranger than you find in fiction, is hard to believe that people would go so far to cover up the truth, and yet it’s true. The whole thing was cleverly done but totally bizarre and stupid. I only hope that Taylor never goes back to this sham like Caroline wants to, no matter how much publicity comes out. Staying in the light and truth is the only way to cut the cancer out of his soul and regain his real joy again.

The idea of focusing MFOYA’s attentions onto that TMS place is just unappealing. That site has linked MFOYA on it’s blog and from my end I can see it has gotten about 10 clicks since this webmaster put it up yesterday. That means zero to no traffic. In other words, really, who cares… Apparently not that many people. Apparently not us. I have no desire or inclination to bash the TMS “fan site.” First off, it’s not where my interests lie, secondly there’s way too many posters on this site that are from that site and third off, well, Radar. That’s much more interesting now isn’t it?
I think it’s best if people let this go, it’s a conflict of interest and only annoying like a fly or gnat, but no big deal. I’m sorry the site owner called you names or you think the site owner called me names. But take it for what it is. Just misinformed fans. No different then any other misinformed fans at those anti mfoya blogs. There’s no need to insult back.
Taylor created an illusion and they don’t have an ability to understand why he would do such a thing. They don’t know him, they don’t get it. It’s simple. But they will self-righteously (and hilariously) fight for something even though they honestly have no clue which way is up. I guess this is what fans do? Bottom line is these rumors getting PUBLISHED is a huge blow to the kool-aid drinkers. If it was Newsweek they’d tell you it was a rag mag. LOL.
Ask any New Yorker if Radar Magazine is a rag mag (like the Enquirer) and they’ll laugh in your face. It’s a hot magazine and the topic of A LOT of controversy. They’re often in war with Gawker (the central must read blog for all journalists and people in the media) and the people running it are big time.
Billionaire Ron Burkle, Maer Roshan of Interview Magazine, NY Magazine, Talk Magazine… I could go on and on.
But I’m betting rag mags will pick up this story right where Radar left off. That’s just the way it goes!

To me, nothing justifies taking this to the extreme as it did. Taylor’s talent and his contribution to the music is the important thing.

Well 2008 is starting off with a bang. I just found an ex-boyfriend that I thought I would marry is getting a divorce, and wants to get together to “catch-up.” The soon-to-be-ex-wife? She’s the woman my ex cheated on me with. Hmm…
And then I come to MFOYA and find out this story is now in Radar. Though Radar can be snarky and gossipy, it’s hardly a tabloid rag. And if it’s making fun of MFOYA, well then it’s also making fun of Taylor, the Soul Patrol and extreme fandom as a whole. I don’t usually peruse the Kool-aid boards, but I can only imagine the gnashing of teeth (dentures) from all the uptight grannies.
It seems like Taylor got caught up in bad situation, needed to cover it up and now it’s blowing up in his face. I do feel bad for him, but at the same time I wished he wouldn’t have put on such a fake persona while on AI. It got him the most delusional fans, people who elevate him to god-like status and don’t allow him to be a human being. Poor Taylor. First he needed the Soul Patrol and now he’s stuck with them.
I hope 2008 gets Taylor back on the track on making some really great music. I hope he can break off the Clive Davis shackles and truly make the music he wants to make, not the derivative dreck of his first post-AI album. I hope he connects with both known and unknown musicians who really inspire him. Who knows, maybe Taylor will discover an awesome band at some dive bar, or hook up with a musician he greatly admires. I also hope Taylor gets it together personally, and realizes he doesn’t have to put on a bullshit act for people to like him.

The Soul Patrol isn’t exactly savvy. That’s what so great about this site. MFOYA is snarky and funny and smart. I know a lot of smart soul patrollers that don’t post but just read here. Also the topic is hilarious. There is this much outrage because it’s all true. This has been going strong since Sept. Going stronger and getting even stronger and is by far the most popular TH site out there.
The truth is that people just CANNOT handle how right MFOYA has been. It bugs the hell out of them. it’s like their egos are bruised because MFOYA keeps scoring over and over and over and proving them all wrong consistently. And the only one laughing is probably MFOYA. At them!!
All the koolaid fans better brace themselves. It’s going to get even uglier out there.

I’ve always been honest with the reporting done on this site. The only thing I’ve ever been less then honest about is my identity. It’s not a coincidence that everyone thinks I’m someone else. Then when they think they know who that someone is they realize there’s no one behind that either. That must be frustrating that we’re so elusive. But it’s fun to watch too.

I do consider myself to be part of the Soul Patrol, at least on it’s fringes. However, I am not a blind follower of the almighty Taylor Hicks - I don’t idolize him as some god who can do no bad. Other SPers need to get a clue, wake up and realize that he is just a man who is capable of …well, almost anything.

All of this talk about who MFOYA may or may not be is being done to destract people from the truth. They don’t want to believe what their eyes and brains are telling them. Taylor Hicks AI winner from session 5, good old boy from AL lied to his fans, friends and family for months. So to keep from having to think about that they have started to concentrate on who is MFOYA. Who is this person that is forcing me to admint the truth. Damn this MFOYA person for making me believe what I don’t want to believe. It’s the same thing with the “this is Taylor’s private life and not any of my business” talk that has suddenly started. If I tell myself it’s none of my business then I don’t have to think about what a fool Taylor has made of me.
It doesn’t matter if MFOYA is male, female, friend or fo. The truth is Taylor Hicks lied to his fans, friends and family. He made fools out of everyone for months. Finding out who MFOYA is will not change that fact. You don’t have to like it but it’s time to accept it.
Taylor, Lieders, Bill, Ruffcorn, Ted, Taylor’s publicist and anyone else that knew the truth and did nothing to stop it are the ones to blame. Enabling Taylor to lie is like putting a bottle in an alcoholics hand. I truly don’t believe that is an exaggeration. MFOYA is the only one who knew the truth and was brave enough to try and stop it.

Also, someone was posting on Sunny’s blog , I think that person is what people refer to here a JAT. She was claiming that “nothing MFOYA says is true” and I honestly laughed to myself.
I have read this woman has never even been to a Taylor Hicks show or met Taylor Hicks so how the hell would she know what was true and what was not? When she has absolutely NOTHING to do with Taylor on any level other than being a complete stranger?
The same goes for all those fools and freaks on the CL fanatical site and every other fans. You are strangers. Nobodies. So am I. Accept it.
It really does astound me that fans that are so outside of this situation actually think they have some kind of knowledge to make statements about what is or what isn’t the truth.
MFOYA has proved inside knowledge consistently without banging us over the head with it. What they say pans out. They tell us Taylor will be in Atlanta on NYE w/o CL and he is. Taylor will be in Asia and expect some damage control. It happens. Taylor and his family will be in Memphis w/o CL and he is.
Surely it confuses them on how MFOYA would know information like this that nobody else knew until after it happened.

Wanna know what I care about? I care that y’all are making a big whoop-dee-doo about Carolyn’s recent absences–and misinterpreting the whole thing.
Of course you anarchists come up with reasons that make her look bad! Re. Asia, why does it have to be because Tay sent her home early?? Maybe she simply retreated to their hotel room of her own volition. Did you consider that all that pointing and laughing by the local children started taking a toll? She’s not made of stone, people! Artifice, ineptitude, duplicity, greed–and perhaps a strand of giraffe DNA–but not of stone! And if she did depart early I doubt it was for the reasons you claim. Maybe she thought she left the gas on at her home in Milwaukee? Happens to me all the time. How could she be expected to squint through a week’s worth of photo ops with the thought of Aaron asphyxiating in his sleep weighing on her mind?
And as far as Memphis is concerned, I seriously doubt Tay would have passed up the opportunity for another painfully awkward reunion of his family and Carolyn. Memphis would have been their first get together since the excruciating meeting at Boutwell. (I heard Grandma Joni begged off that trainwreck, citing a previously scheduled root canal.) Know what? I bet Carolyn had a fashion crisis. We’ve all had those. She probably couldn’t find a gown to go with her glasses–or her neck, for that matter–so it’s just as well. Why go out when you can’t look your best? True, that has never, ever, ever, ever stopped her from leaving her house before, but maybe she’s wising up. It’s key that fans she encounters will remark later on her beauty–as opposed to her preternatural ability to ease Taylor out of the center of every picture they took. (As it turns out, Tay was not without female companionship that evening. The notorious bestower of unsolicited romantic advice and serial meet&greeter, EJ shadowed his every movement with the inevitability of bad breath following garlic.)

Now he will have more creative freedom, but well, he doesn’t have a record deal. Being dropped by your label isn’t a great thing unless you really want to spin it. I’m sure he’s a little freaked out right now, hopefully someone who gets him will pick him up. I’m not all that worried however. Maybe now he can go back to being himself and make the music we all fell in love with in the first place.

I just visited that TMS site after pretty much avoiding them always. I find it sad that the only thing anyone wants to talk about there is MFOYA. That is the one topic anyone is interested. So basically all the Soul Patrol does is talk about MFOYA. TMS is finally getting hits on their site because of MFOYA. TMS is claiming massive traffic because of MFOYA. I was directed to TMS, when I first heard of it I had no clue. I googled TMS and got this link. I thought well hell, minerals and metals, that’s not it…
